Dr. Nichols received his bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2007. Thereafter he conducted biomedical research on sight threatening diseases at NEI (National Eye Institute in Bethesda, Maryland). He then received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Optometry in 2013. Dr. Nichols also completed a residency in Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease at Northeastern State University, Oklahoma College of Optometry and Amarillo Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
